Techstars Startup Weekends are 54-hour events designed to provide superior experiential education for technical and non-technical entrepreneurs. Beginning with Friday night pitches, the event continues through brainstorming, business plan development, and basic prototype creation, culminating in Sunday night demos and presentations.

Participants will get to form teams and work on their social innovation ideas during the event and are able to collaborate with like-minded individuals outside of their daily networks. All teams will attend workshops by industry leaders and receive valuable feedback from local entrepreneurs. The weekend is centered around action, innovation and education.

After a wee summer break we are back with a bang online on the evening of 26 September with a super exciting panel event chatting all things AI, women founders who are working on AI based start-ups and the fab Women In AI Ireland chapter who are pioneering all day every day.

What does career progression in look and feel like for a woman in the industry in 2023? What more should employers be doing to support women in their careers? How do you call out misogynistic behaviour when it shows up?

We'll be diving in to these questions and much more at this event on the 26th September in the Green Room at the Black Box. Whether you're in the industry, looking to learn more, or want to share your experiences with others who've been in similar positions, come along and join in the conversation with our 4 fab panellist and myself having another oul crack at hosting!

Bytes n' Brew is a fortnightly social event, a relaxed space designed to give our community an opportunity for conversations and connections around busy/work-life schedules. Join online to make new friends in the community, ask others for career advice, coding help or mentoring.
